SQUEEEE of the Week: Sansa Stark Adopts Her Direwolf IRL

I can't with this cuteness!

We all know that on HBO's Game of Thrones, you win or you die.  Since an actual wolf can't sit upon the Iron Throne [or could it??], no pet is safe.  Especially if it belongs to a too-noble-for-his/her-own-good member of the Stark family.  We find this out early on, when Sansa Stark's direwolf Lady is sacrificed to appease Queen Cersei's anger and Joffrey's little-bitchness.

BUT IRL THERE'S HOPE!

Sophie Turner, who plays the unfortunate Sansa, has adopted Zunni, the Mahlek Northern Inuit SO Fuzzy and Cute Dog:  “We knew Lady died and [the show] wanted to re-home her. My mum persuaded them to let us adopt her.”

UGLY SOB.
